About the event
The full itinerary will be set out nearer the time but will include swims on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday and Sunday there will be an early morning (pre breakfast swim) and a trek/swim route later in the day.
To give you an understanding of what we mean on the trek days an example follows: Meet at car park x and we will walk along mountain paths to the first plunge stop for a quick refreshing dip at a waterfall pool (includes short rough scramble). Continue walk gaining height to reach large mountain tarn for longer wetsuit swim. Walk back taking opportunity to take third dip of the day in another remote mountain pool. Walk back to car park. Route length 10km assent 600m. This will be the hardest type of route.
On the two trek days we will include a drink and snack after. You will need to carry your own gear including some light refreshments. Treks will take around 4-6 hours Saturday, with 3-4 Sunday including swims.
All swims are weather dependant and can change, the swim trip is non-refundable & non-transferable, but if we have to cancel for any reason, you will receive a FULL refund. (No refunds if people cannot travel).

You will be free to make your own travel, accommodation and food arrangements, although some light refreshments will be supplied on the trek/swims.

An introduction to gully scrambling, this will include a walk in and a guided easy scramble up a gill negotiating slippery rocks, cold water, plunge pools and short pitch scrambles ending with a water fall dip. Old trainers, wetsuit and water safety helmet will be required.
